To meet the demand for 8K uncompressed SDI baseband video remote transmission, FIBERSTAMP has launched the 48G-SDI (4x12G) broadcast-grade video optical extender kit solution, which is designed to fulfill 20km single-mode fiber transmission of four uncompressed 12G-SDI signals. Each 12G-SDI channel is independent, rate-backward compatible, and supports any SDI operating rate from 270Mbit/s to 12Gbit/s. In addition, the device has built-in the SDI signal equalizer, decoder, clock data recovery circuit, and route driver, which can realize a 4-link 12G-SDI signal input and distribute three 4-link 12G-SDI signals output and backward-compatible resolution. Moreover, it can be applied to professional SDI video signals such as UHDTV/FHDTV/HDTV/SDTV, especially suitable for the transmission of broadcast-grade UHD digital signals.
